Hi, I'm Lindsay! I grew up in Toronto, Ontario with a father who instilled in me a deep love for exploring new places. When I graduated from Bishop’s University in Quebec in 2006, I jumped at the chance to move to Japan for a job teaching English to Japanese elementary and middle school students. In 2007, I moved to Chicago, Illinois, where I received a Master’s in Elementary Education from DePaul University and a Type 03 Illinois teaching certificate. I am currently looking for a full time elementary position in or near the city, but in the mean time I am working as a substitute teacher, writing tutor, and after school technology instructor. I am passionate about traveling, teaching, photography, and children’s literature, so I have combined my love for these things into my new blog: Where the Wild Things Learn.
